REFRESHING HOMEMADE POPSICLES

Beat the heat with these refreshing, homemade popsicles that will keep your hydrated all summer long! Keep them in the freezer for you and the kids to grab throughout the day as a healthy treat.

Frozen yogurt berry popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or coconut milk or almond milk yogurt for dairy free option)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh mixed berries

DIRECTIONS

  1. Stir yogurt and honey/maple syrup together and add the berries.
  2. Fill popsicle molds with yogurt mixture and freeze.

Makes 4 popsicles

Raspberry chia seed popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients into container and mix well. Store on counter or in fridge for up to an hour, until chia seeds begin to absorb the coconut milk.
  2. Pour mixture into molds and put in freezer overnight, or until frozen.

Fruity peach popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup ripe peaches
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 cup 2% Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons filtered water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Once blended, add into 6 popsicle molds and freeze overnight.

Serves 6

Strawberry lemonade popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5-6 lemons)
  • 1 cup organic strawberries, divided
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • 4-6 cups of filtered water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add lemon juice, ½ cup raspberries, coconut sugar and water into blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add the other ½ cup raspberries mix together with a spoon.
  3. Add mixture to Popsicle molds and put into freezer until frozen.

Serves 4

Chocolatey fudgesicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup of unsweetened chocolate almond milk
  • 1 handful of crushed ice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into blender and mix on high until smooth.
  2. Add mixture to Popsicle mold or ice cube tray, pop in freezer overnight and enjoy!

Pina colada popsicles

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the avocado, coconut milk and coconut sugar in the blender and mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the coconut flakes and mix with a spoon.
  3. Pour into the Popsicle mold and freeze overnight.
