Fall inspired smoothies

Satisfy your fall cravings with these healthy and delicious smoothies that incorporate all the wonderful flavours the season has to offer!

 

Pumpkin pie smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup – 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-2 cups of spinach leaves
  • ½ tablespoon chia seeds
  • 4-5 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.

Serves 1

Warming chocolate ginger smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • ½ banana
  • ½ tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup kale or baby spinach
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon natural almond butter
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • ½ tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. Top with unsweetened coconut flakes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (2%)
  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk of choice (i.e., almond, cashew, coconut)
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Ice cubes (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop of unflavoured protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower (if you have a hard time digesting cauliflower, try steaming before freezing to help with digestion)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1-2 dates

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients into blender and blend on high until well combined and smooth.

  • ½ banana
